Carrots contain, in various small amounts, the following nutrients; Alpha Carotene, Glutathione, Potassium, various lettered vitamins, an easily absorbable form of calcium and other nutritious properties. Periodic elements include Iron, Sulphur, Manganese, Magnesium, Copper and others. Carrots can reduce the likelihood of developing certain cancers. Anything that helps the rods and cones of your eyes is a good thing. They contain a variety of essential oils, nitrates and other necessary materials for the growing body. A good source of fiber and a good vegetable if you should come down with a cold. Fruits like strawberries may be tastey, but are not very nutritous. Carrots have content whereas other fruits and vegetables are more empty.

An affordable luxury

If you happen to have a juice machine, adding carrots would be a great way to get some needed, and affordable, nutrition in your diet and have a great and frothy breakfast drink. You can get a bag of carrots or the price of a single exotic fruit. Combining apples (which are by themselves relatively inexpensive) and carrots could easily get you enough nutrition for the rest of the day. (not to mention more sustenence than most other people you would find yourself in contact with) Juicing carrots is just a great way to get the most out of your vegetables. Many people dislike the means of chopping up carrots and having to eat them slowly, if they would only change their means, they might actually like these vegetables.
